Your merino sleeping bag doesn't need to be washed very often. You can simply let it air inside-out over the cot rail and it will remain fresh for a long time. We only use organic fabric dyes and there are no added chemicals - you can start using your SnugBag immediately without prior washing.
WASHING INSTRUCTIONS Please close zips on garment before laundering and please either hand wash or cold machine on wool or delicate cycle only. Please wash our swaddles in a laundry bag.
ONLY USE WOOL WASH LIQUID We highly recommend using either 'Ecostore Wool & Delicates Wash' or 'Earthwise Wool & Delicates'.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR BEST RESULTS:
Close all zippers
USE WOOL WASH LIQUID ONLY
Use cold machine wash on a wool/delicate cycle only
Gentle machine spin dry - we recommend no higher than 800 rpm
Line dry only in the shade
PLEASE DO NOT
Do not use regular washing powder, liquid, laundry balls or soap nuts under any circumstance
Do not use bleach, napisan or fabric softener under any circumstance
Do not use stain removers
Do not use hot water
Do not use bleach
Do not spot clean
Do not machine spin your garment over 800 rpm
Do not soak your garment
Do not iron prints or labels
Do not tumble dry
Do not dry in direct sunlight or close to any other form of direct heat
Why not use a regular laundry detergent? Unfortunately due to the harsh ingredients the delicate merino fibers will damage and break and holes or weak spots will inevitably follow.
A note for our Canadian and US customers - please do not use any of the Kookaburra detergents range to wash your merino. They use very clever marketing techniques but the ingredients in their detergents are NOT suitable to wash wool.
