OUR NEW ZEALAND MADE PROMISE

We manufacture exclusively in New Zealand to ensure an ethical product that is made to the highest quality and safety standards.

All our (organic) merino and certified organic cotton is spun, knitted and dyed with certified organic fabric dyes right here in New Zealand or Australia.

Our fasteners, like our YKK zips and care labels, are made in New Zealand. There is no cheap outsourcing with dubious production conditions and quality that cannot be guaranteed. 

We guarantee that we only use the finest (19.5 micron) New Zealand and Australian merino wool, there is no substitute for the quality and customers say they can feel the difference at first touch. Our preferred choice is certified organic merino.

All our Merino is strictly sourced from non-mulesing certified suppliers.

​We love looking after our environment as much as we love caring for your little one and we are very proud to say that all our product packaging is 100% plastic free. 

Our YKK eco-friendly zippers are made from recycled plastic bottles.

OUR ECO FABRICS

​Our New Zealand fabric manufacturer and dyeing auxiliaries meet the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) - the most comprehensive and the highest Standard Certification for Organic Textiles, and are approved by the Institute for Marketecology (IMO).

Our Australian fabric manufacturer is a fully certified processor of Organic Cotton knits under the guidance of Australian Certified Organic (ACO) with all fibre, dyes and auxiliaries are GOTS certified. 

Dye processes are formaldehyde free and do not use solvents. We only use vegetable oils that are biodegradable. All our fabrics are dyed in New Zealand or Australia.

​We carefully monitor our entire production process to ensure that environmental criteria are being met to ensure to we deliver a product of the highest standard and quality.

OUR COMMITMENT TO NO SCREENPRINTING 
Our subtle patterns are woven through the fabric, not screen printed. We take our ethos of minimising exposure to potentially harmful materials seriously. Current screen printing production involves the use of chemicals that can be harmful to the skin or release toxins into the air during production and usage. We choose ethics over 'colour of the year' swatches because we care for your baby and the environment.

Our ‘Prints and Stripes’ are woven using unbleached and naturally coloured organic cotton and prove that gorgeous doesn’t have to be vivid. Our fabrics are made to last and do not fade, they never lose their style, matching with any colour in your nursery. Allowing our garments to be passed onto siblings, friends and the wider community.
